3. Exciting party game for kids - The Ultimate Treasure hunt!!

Some mums find that keeping small children occupied and interested at parties can be quite tiring. One activity that works well every time for me is to organize the ultimate treasure hunt! A great and fun way I have found especially for those who are still too little to read, is on arrival at the party to stamp the top of their hands with a rubber stamp (an animal or any other recognizable
figure) They are each told that they have to search for treasure corresponding with their own little picture, which is then theirs.

Squeals of laughter and excitement are heard until all the gifts are found. It is also a way of making sure that even the shyest guest gets a fair share of prizes! I normally allow about three small treasure items per child.

4. Fun Party Suggestion!!

When boys and girls are involved, a pirate party often goes down very well. Guests can be asked to come to the party dressed as pirates, or else can be fitted with colorful bandanna's on arrival.
If time permits face paints can be applied to each pirate.

Treasure hunt prizes can include eye patches, skull sweets, bags of chocolate gold coated coins, small parrot soft toys, etc. The birthday cake which is always a focal point can be a treasure chest, pirate, skull and crossbones, or a bottom-of-the-sea shipwreck scene.

We worry about what a child will become tomorrow, yet we forget that he is someone today. ~ Stacia Tauscher
